New Balance: The history
New Balance was founded in 1906, and started out by manufacturing pioneering arch supports to make shoes fit better and improve balance for wearers. Since then we’ve stuck with the same philosophy: to continuously invent, innovate and challenge the norm, making sure our shoes are as comfortable and high-performing as they are effortlessly stylish. We’ve come a long way, but have always stayed true to our roots – still to this day using our domestic factories in New England in the US, and Flimby, Cumbria in the UK to produce our premium quality Made in US and Made in UK collections.
